The 2025 edition of Festivaletteratura, the twenty-ninth, confirmed the event's extraordinary ability to attract audiences: approximately 69,000 attendees in total, with 47,000 spectators at paid events and 22,000 at free activities. Of the 261 ticketed events, a remarkable 160 were sold out.

The programme exceeded 330 appointments, including meetings, performances, concerts, and animated tours, spread throughout the historic centre of Mantua and in unusual venues such as the monumental cemetery and the fortified sites. Over 550 volunteers made the event possible, accompanied by projects such as poetry residencies at Forte di Pietole and book-making workshops for children. An edition that paved the way for the thirtieth anniversary in 2026.
