Festival Storie

On September 22, 2025, Santa Vittoria in Matenano welcomed back its historic Teatro del Leone, reopened after the facade restoration, with a concert by the Quartetto Mercadante as part of the fifth edition of Festival Storie. The evening, completely sold out up to the gallery, featured soundtracks from great Italian cinema — from La dolce vita to La vita è bella, from Amarcord to The Godfather — with music by Rota, Morricone, and Piovani. The ensemble consisted of Rocco Debernardis (clarinet), Leo Binetti (piano), Giampaolo Caldarola (saxophone), and Francesco Sette (percussion). A debut that confirmed the village's role as a central hub of the festival's cultural network, conceived and organised by Progetto Musical.
