Festival of Vincisgrassi cooked on a wood-fired oven

The 2025 festival

The 2025 edition, the 29th, of the Festival of Vincisgrassi cooked on a wood-fired oven was held in the San Pietro-Crocestrada district of Monte Urano (province of Fermo) from June 27th to 29th, as part of the celebrations in honor of Saint John the Baptist.

The festivities had opened on June 24th with an outdoor Mass in Via Ungheria and a procession to the Church of Saint John the Baptist, accompanied by the band. The evenings preceding the festival featured the "beer and sausages" night with the group Folkappanka and the dialect comedy show "E Jitave che è Femmana" by the company Li Rmasti from Falerone. During the three central days, the district's volunteers served the famous vincisgrassi cooked in a wood-fired oven along with other traditional dishes from Fermo.
