Festival of Torta al Testo and DOC Wines of the Perugini Hills

In 2025 too, the Festival of Torta al Testo attracted lovers of traditional Umbrian cuisine to Pila. In the Arringatore Park of Villa Umbra, the stalls offered torta al testo cooked on the stone slab, stuffed with cured meats, cheeses, and sausage, accompanied by DOC wines from the Perugini Hills. Amidst live music and dancing evenings, the festival reaffirmed its role as a historic summer event for the Perugino area, faithful to the original recipe and traditions.

2025 edition: the festival took place between late June and early July in the Arringatore Park of Villa Umbra in Pila (Perugia), with stalls serving torta al testo cooked on embers, cured meats, cheeses, DOC wines from the Perugini Hills, live music, and evening dancing.
