Edition 2025 — Festival of the Wool and Silk Road
2025 Edition
The Festival of the Wool and Silk Road 2025 was held on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, 2025, between Montepiano and Castiglione dei Pepoli, on both sides of the Apennine ridge between Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany.
The program intertwined art, excursions, concerts, sound walks, and meetings with authors, including the "landscape poet" Franco Arminio. There were also the 'Cucine della Via' featuring Emilian and Tuscan gastronomy and traditional tortelli. Among the year's new features were the inauguration of the first public art installations from the "Fare comunità, arte pubblica lungo la Via della Lana e della Seta" (Building community, public art along the Wool and Silk Road) project, born from the collaboration between the Pecci art center in Prato and MAMbo in Bologna.
