Edition 2025 — Festival of the Woods
The 41st edition of the Festival of the Woods enlivened Montone from October 30 to November 2, 2025, confirming itself as one of the most evocative and authentic autumn events in Umbria. In the medieval village, among the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, the market exhibition featured mushrooms, truffles, chestnuts, honey, cheeses, cured meats, and new olive oil, with local wines, open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM (from Thursday afternoon).
Four days filled with music, itinerant shows, and workshops, including forest excursions, truffle hunting, and sports activities. The novelty of the year was the performance by the tightrope walker Kennistrip, who executed a challenging crossing between the two church bells. A rich edition, in the village of Braccio Fortebraccio, in the province of Perugia.
