Festival of the Trails

The second edition of the Festival of the Trails in Castel d'Aiano was held on May 17 and 18, 2025 with the evocative title "I see horizons where you draw boundaries," which united two simple but powerful words: trails and inclusion.

The festival opened with the round table "A step beyond, inclusion and movement," followed by the inauguration of the inclusive path "A step beyond... the trail of welcome," which connects the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Brasa to the hamlet of Sassomolare. During the two days, numerous hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding excursions, activities for children, food stands, and recreational moments were offered. The photographic exhibition "Life between trails and landscapes in the Apennines" and the multimedia model of the Gothic Line were also available for viewing. Activities and excursions were free upon reservation.
