Festival of the Third Youth – Cerreto d'Esi stage

The path to the first edition

The Festival of the Third Youth is a recently established event: the first edition took place in 2026 in the municipalities of the Ancona hinterland, including Cerreto d'Esi. 2025 was the preparation year, during which the Pact for the Well-being of the Elderly 2026-2028 was created and signed by the municipalities of Fabriano, Sassoferrato, Genga, Serra San Quirico, and Cerreto d'Esi, along with the Marche Region and the Ancona AST (Local Health Authority).

The research work conducted with Coralab, a spin-off of the University of Urbino, defined the project's objectives: to transform aging into a community resource and combat social isolation. From this process, the travelling festival was born, which, since 2026, has enlivened the historic centres of Cerreto d'Esi and other municipalities in the Province of Ancona.
