Edition 2025 — Most Holy Crucifix Festival

In 2025, Ribera once again celebrated the Festival of the Most Holy Crucifix in early May, with the traditional procession of the Crucifix statue through the town streets. Popular devotion, religious celebrations, and a festive atmosphere involved the entire Ribera community, confirming the event as one of the most cherished in the local religious tradition of the Agrigento area.

In 2025, the Festival of the Most Holy Crucifix renewed one of the most deeply rooted religious traditions in Ribera. At the beginning of May, the historic center came alive for the celebrations in honor of the Crucifix, culminating in the procession of the sacred statue accompanied by the brass band and the participation of the faithful.

Between solemn masses, moments of prayer, and the atmosphere of popular celebration typical of Sicilian Crucifix holidays, the 2025 edition confirmed the strong bond between the community of Ribera, in the province of Agrigento, and its devotion, passed down from generation to generation.
