Festival of the Medium Candles

The Festival of the Medium Candles 2025 was held, as tradition dictates, on the Sunday after May 17th, a few days after the Major Race on May 15th. The young candle bearers of Gubbio, in the province of Perugia, carried the three medium Candles on their shoulders along the route from the historic center up to the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo on Mount Ingino. A fundamental event for the transmission of the candle-bearing tradition to new generations, experienced with the same intensity as the festival for adults.
