Edition 2025 — Festival of the Madunù

In 2025, Dossena also celebrated the Festa del Madunù in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows, with solemn celebrations, fireworks, and the traditional procession with the Musical Corps, renewing a centuries-old devotion dear to the Val Brembana community.

The 2025 edition of the Festa del Madunù confirmed in Dossena the strength of a religious tradition that has lasted for over a century and a half. Around the monumental wooden group of Our Lady of Sorrows, the village gathered for holy masses, Eucharistic adoration, fireworks, and the evocative procession accompanied by the Musical Corps along the village streets. Despite the bad weather on some days, the community participated with great devotion, renewing the bond with the «Madunù», the heart of Dossena's religious identity, awaiting the 2026 edition.
