Edition 2025 — Madonna del Mare

In 2025, the Festa della Madonna del Mare was held in Porto Garibaldi from May 30 to June 2, organized by the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. Between solemn masses, a sea procession with fishing boats, food stalls with typical seafood dishes, a funfair open every evening, and popular festivities, the event confirmed the village's strong connection to its maritime tradition.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Madonna del Mare took place in Porto Garibaldi (Comacchio, Ferrara) from May 30 to June 2, organized by the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. The festival combined the sacred and popular dimensions, with the funfair open every evening from 6:00 PM and the food stalls opening from 7:00 PM, offering typical seafood dishes.

The most anticipated moment was the traditional sea procession: the statue of the Madonna, carried through the village streets decorated with banners and flowers in the colors of the districts, was embarked and accompanied by fishing boats offshore, where a blessing was given and a wreath was cast into the water in memory of those who did not return from the sea.
