Edition 2025 — Madonna degli Ammalati

The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Madonna degli Ammalati took place in Misterbianco from September 7 to 20, 2025, with a rich calendar of religious and civil events. Alongside the journey of the bell, the Cantata, and processions in honor of the Patroness, the program offered tastings of seasoned bread, wines, and craft beers, car meets, concerts, and a popular street food festival along Via Madonna degli Ammalati.

Festival of the Madonna degli Ammalati 2025

The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Madonna degli Ammalati took place in Misterbianco (Catania) from September 7 to 20, 2025, spread over two weeks of celebrations. On September 7, the Campanarazzu Park hosted the charity event Bread and Goblets under the Stars, featuring tastings and stargazing accompanied by live music from Archinuè.

The most heartfelt moments took place during the central weekend: the journey of the bell to the sanctuary, the Cantata to the Virgin, and the solemn city procession with the painting of the Madonna. Religious rites were accompanied by tastings of seasoned bread, wines, and craft beers, and a sports car gathering.

From September 11 to 14, the Misterbianco Street Food Fest was held along Via Madonna degli Ammalati, every evening from 6 PM to midnight, featuring Sicilian street food, arancini, gourmet burgers, and craft beers. Evening highlights included a DJ set by Emanuele Caponetto, a concert by the Brigantini, the OPS! In Tour cabaret show, and the Magnitudo Rock Fest.

September 2025 (selection): September 7 - Bread and Goblets under the Stars at Campanarazzu Park, with stargazing and concert by Archinuè; journey of the bell and processions in honor of the Patroness; tastings of seasoned bread, wines, and craft beers; sports car gathering. Misterbianco Street Food Fest (Via Madonna degli Ammalati, September 11-14, 6 PM - midnight): September 11 DJ set with Emanuele Caponetto; September 12 concert by the Brigantini; September 13 OPS! In Tour cabaret; September 14 Magnitudo Rock Fest.
