Festival of the Little Candles

The Festival of the Little Candles 2025 was held on June 2nd, as is tradition, in Gubbio, province of Perugia. The children carried the Little Candles on their shoulders along the route from the historic center up to the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo on Mount Ingino, accompanied by the Maggio Eugubino Association, which also organized the convivial moments of the day. An event that involves families and represents the first step in the training of future 'ceraioli' of Gubbio.

Gathering and breakfast in the morning, raising of the Little Candles, lunch for the 'ceraioli', and afternoon race from the historic center to the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo on Mount Ingino, with a final snack at the Basilica.
