Edition 2025 — Festival of Italian Bagpipers

In 2025, the Festival of the Italian Bagpipers confirmed its August dates in San Polo Matese, in the heart of the Molise Matese. Bagpipe players from various regions gathered in the village, the Molise capital of the instrument, for concerts and performances that filled the village streets with the ancient music of the reeds.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Italian Bagpipers renewed the event dedicated to the ancient reed instrument in August in San Polo Matese (CB). Following previous editions (the 24th in 2024), the festival attracted bagpipe musicians and players from various Italian regions, animating the Matese village with concerts and itinerant performances. The event, promoted by the Zampognari del Matese, reaffirmed San Polo Matese's role as one of the main Italian centers for the bagpipe, along with Scapoli and Castelnuovo al Volturno.
