Edition 2025 — Franciscan Paths — Monterchi
The 9th edition of the Festival of the Franciscan Paths took place from May 29 to June 8, 2025, with a preview on May 11, and celebrated the 800th anniversary of the composition of the Canticle of the Creatures under the banner of joy, harmony, and fraternity. The festival crossed the Upper Tiber Valley, touching, among others, Citerna, Sansepolcro, Monterchi, Anghiari, Pieve Santo Stefano, Caprese Michelangelo, Monte Santa Maria Tiberina, San Giustino, and Città di Castello, reaching as far as Assisi and Florence.
The Monterchi stage, included in the festival's widespread calendar, proposed the traditional format of the festival consisting of walks along the Franciscan paths of the Valtiberina and cultural meetings, with the usual attention to families and the promotion of the village's artistic and natural heritage.
