Festival of the Crucifix 2025: The 219th Edition
The 219th edition of the Festival of the Crucifix was held in San Possidonio, in the province of Modena, from August 23 to 27, 2025. The event confirmed its role as the community's signature event, with the usual historical costume procession and a rich calendar of appointments.
Among the most anticipated gastronomic moments were the opening evening with "Tortelli sotto le stelle", followed by the "Historical Dinner with a Mystery", the traditional maccheronata in the square, and the "Alla Villa" stall dedicated to pumpkin tortelli. The musical evenings ranged from ballroom dancing with the Roberto Morselli orchestra to revival offerings, accompanied by stalls, a funfair, and family entertainment.
