Edition 2025 — Assumption Festival
On August 15, 2025, the day of the Assumption, Toano celebrated its Festival of the Assumption of Mary at the ancient Pieve of Santa Maria Assunta, on the hill overlooking the main town in the Reggiano Apennines. The patronal Ferragosto feast renewed the community's bond with its symbolic monument in 2025, one of the most intact examples of Canossan art in the Apennines. Amidst religious celebrations and village festival moments animated by local associations, the event confirmed its role as a summer gathering for the village inhabitants and visitors to the Reggiano Apennines.
