Edition 2025 — Santa Maria Salome Festival
The 2025 edition in Castelliri
In 2025, the Festival of Santa Maria Salome, patron saint of Castelliri (province of Frosinone, Lazio), was celebrated from October 22nd to 26th. The festivities opened on Wednesday, October 22nd, with the descent of the statue into the parish church, which kicked off a week of religious services.
On Thursday, October 23rd, the parish church hosted the Note nei Borghi concert, featuring baritone Cesidio Iacobone. On Saturday, October 25th, the afternoon was dedicated to children with the Din Don Art animation and a speech by Father Dino Mazzoli. On Sunday, October 26th, after the long procession, the ascent of the Saint and the Holy Mass took place, followed in the evening by the pasta alla norcina festival with musical entertainment by the group Le Tre Note.
