Edition 2025 — Festival of the Santi Canziani

In 2025, Paglieta once again renewed its devotion to Saints Canzio, Canziano, and Canzianilla with the traditional patronal festival in late May, featuring Masses, band-led processions, and popular gatherings. The village's choral season then culminated on July 12, 2025, with the 16th edition of the "Paglieta patria del folklore internazionale" choir festival in Piazza Roma, promoted by the San Giusto Martire Choir.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Festival of the Santi Canziani reaffirmed the strong bond between Paglieta and its patron saints, celebrated in late May with liturgical rites, processions accompanied by the band, and popular gatherings in the village center, in the Province of Chieti.

The town's choral vocation found further expression on July 12, 2025, when the 16th International Folk Choir Festival, titled "Paglieta patria del folklore internazionale," was held in Piazza Roma, promoted by the San Giusto Martire Choir with groups from various Italian regions. A year that underscored Paglieta's role as a reference point for choral folklore in Abruzzo.
