Edition 2025 — Saint Roch

In 2025, Cernusco sul Naviglio also celebrated its co-patron Saint Roch with the mass on August 16th at the votive chapel, renewing a tradition linked to the memory of the 1576 plague and the devotion of the people of Cernusco.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Saint Roch renewed in Cernusco sul Naviglio, in the province of Milan, the devotion to the city's co-patron. On August 16th, the community gathered for the morning mass at the votive chapel of Saint Roch, erected as thanks for the end of the 1576 plague. A fixed and deeply rooted religious event that preserves the city's historical memory and the bond between the people of Cernusco and their patron saints.
