Edition 2025 — Saint Fina
In 2025, the Festival of Saint Fina once again brought San Gimignano to life on March 12th, the patron saint's day. The community gathered for the solemn celebration in the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the procession of relics, and the traditional fair in the historic center's squares, during the blooming period of the yellow violets that symbolize the Saint.
The 2025 edition of the Festival of Saint Fina took place on March 12th in San Gimignano, renewing the centuries-old devotion to the young patron saint of the city of towers. The day combined the religious celebration in the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the procession of the relics, and the fair in Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Cisterna, confirming the festival as one of the most cherished identity-defining events of the Tuscan village.
