Edition 2025 — Saint Emidius and the Traglie

On August 5th, 2025, Roccavivara celebrated Saint Emidius with the traditional parade of the Traglie, the hand-woven wheat carts and braids that adorned the historic centre with gold, including the blessing of the carts, a procession, and tastings.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Saint Emidius confirmed the strength of a tradition that in Roccavivara blends faith and peasant art. The traglie and wheat braids, handmade, transformed the historic centre into a golden path, while the blessing of the carts and the procession of the patron saint against earthquakes marked the day.

The festival, accompanied by traditional music and the tasting of local products, attracted visitors from all over the Trigno Valley as every year, reaffirming the deep bond between the village and its patron.
