Edition 2025 — Saint Bernardino Festival

In 2025, the Castiglioni district of Castignano also celebrated the Festival of Saint Bernardino of Siena around the sanctuary dedicated to the Franciscan saint. As tradition dictates, the days alternated religious celebrations, with masses and the procession, with the convivial moments of the village festival: food stalls, popular games, music, and social gatherings for the entire community.

The Festival of Saint Bernardino of Siena is an annual event in the Castiglioni district of Castignano, in the province of Ascoli Piceno, organized by the Friends of Saint Bernardino Association with the local parish. The 2025 edition renewed the usual formula that blends the religious dimension, linked to the ancient sanctuary and popular devotion to the saint, with that of the popular festival. Masses, the procession, and the blessing of the fields marked the days, while food stalls, tournaments, children's games, and music enlivened the district, confirming the festival as a moment of strong community gathering for the village and the devotees of the Piceno region.
