Festival of Saint Ambrose in Cusino

The Festival of Saint Ambrose is one of the events that mark the traditional calendar of Cusino, a village in Val Cavargna in the province of Como. In 2025 too, the celebration took place on the second Sunday of September: morning mass in the Church of Saint Ambrose and, in the afternoon, the custom of the "canestri", which has now become a convivial lunch with typical valley dishes, organised by the parish with the collaboration of the owners of the nearby huts. A late-summer festival with an ancient flavour, capable of drawing families and holidaymakers to the village in an atmosphere of simplicity and sharing.
