Edition 2025 — Saint Alexander

On August 26, 2025, Capriate San Gervasio celebrated its patron saint, Saint Alexander, with traditional religious services, a solemn mass, and a procession through the village streets, in a day of celebration shared by the entire community of the Bassa Bergamasca region.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Saint Alexander followed tradition, bringing the community of Capriate San Gervasio together around the parish church dedicated to the patron saint. The day of August 26th alternated moments of reflection during religious services with more festive moments experienced by the town.

The solemn mass and procession were the heart of the occasion, confirming the strong bond between the Bergamo municipality and the martyr saint who also protects the nearby city of Bergamo.
