Festival of Sabadone – The Sweet of Saint Paul

The 27th edition of the Festival of Sabadone was held from January 19 to 28, 2025, in Massa Lombarda, province of Ravenna, as part of the celebrations for the patron saint Saint Paul (San Pêval di segn). In Piazza Matteotti, the Pro Loco set up the food stand with sabadoni, accompanied by polenta and stuffed piadine.

The program intertwined cultural, artistic, and gastronomic initiatives with religious moments: the presentation of a book on Anita and Giuseppe Sangiorgi (January 25th), a moment of remembrance for the Day of Remembrance and Alpine Sacrifice (January 26th), the theatrical performance "Sognavano la vita" (They dreamed of life) (January 27th), and the closing with spaghetti and tombola (January 28th). There was also the amusement park (January 20-28) and craft markets.
