Edition 2025 — Festival of Roots

The third edition of the Festival of Roots took place from June 20 to 22, 2025, in Moscufo, at Piazza San Francesco (Bivio Casone area), starting at 19:00. The traveling event of the UNPLI Pescara Pro Loco was hosted by the Pro Loco of Moscufo, celebrating its 40th anniversary, with food stalls from local Pro Loco and musical entertainment.

2025 Edition — Moscufo

The third edition of the Festival of Roots was held from June 20 to 22, 2025, in Moscufo (Pescara), at Piazza San Francesco, in the Bivio Casone area, starting at 19:00. The edition was organized by the Pro Loco of Moscufo — celebrating its 40th anniversary — in collaboration with the UNPLI Pescara Committee.

Nine local Pro Loco brought their specialties to the square: gnocchi and sausage sandwiches (Moscufo), pasta and beans (Loreto Aprutino), fregnacce and arrosticini (Città Sant'Angelo), pallotte cacio e ova (Spoltore), porchetta and fries (Rosciano), Pecorino and honey boards (Farindola), wine, oil, and preserves (Catignano), and other Abruzzo delicacies, with musical entertainment framing the traveling festival of the Pescara Pro Loco.
