Festival of Peace – Rome & Castelli Romani

The 2025 edition

In March 2025, the Festival of Peace renewed its spring appointment between the Municipality of Rome and the villages of the Castelli Romani, in Lazio. As every year, guest choirs were welcomed in the hillside area southeast of the Capital and alternated rehearsals, cultural visits, and concerts open to the public.

The heart of the event remained the concert series in a historic church in Rome, where ensembles took turns presenting their own repertoires, and the Sunday dedicated to singing during services in the parishes of the Castelli Romani. The festival concluded, as is tradition, with the final concert in a local theatre and a convivial dinner among the participants.

In 2025, the event once again confirmed its vocation: no competition, no juries, but an exchange between choirs from different countries and local communities, built around choral music as a language of peace.
