Festival of Our Lady of the Sea

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Our Lady of the Sea took place in Zoagli on August 5th. The day combined Holy Mass on the beach, the underwater procession with the laying of a wreath at the bronze statue of the Madonna on the seabed, the placement of biodegradable soy wax candles, a fireworks display, and the "Zoagli night dance party". As a novelty, the stages of the underwater procession and the immersion of the wreath were broadcast live on the Municipality of Zoagli's channels thanks to professional filming, bringing this evocative maritime ritual of Tigullio to a wider audience.
