Edition 2025 — Festival Madonna del Mare
In 2025, the Festival of Our Lady of the Sea once again enlivened the Trieste district with its established formula: the religious feast of Mary, Star of the Sea, the procession with the Marian effigy accompanied by a band, and the blessing of the sea, a symbol of the city's connection to the Adriatic.
Throughout the festival, food stalls and live music evenings animated the neighborhood, in an authentic and participatory popular celebration, organized by the Parish of Our Lady of the Sea.
