Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the Crowned
The festival of Our Lady of the Crowned is renewed every year on the last Saturday of April in Santa Croce di Magliano. In the 2025 edition, the community gathered around the church of San Giacomo Apostolo for the solemn Mass and the blessing of animals, with the three symbolic laps, the figure of the Scarciacappa, and the parade of knights with the cheese braid.
The day concluded with the procession of the Marian statue, confirming one of the most heartfelt traditions of Basso Molise, organized by the association I Cavalieri dell'Incoronata APS.
Programme
As per tradition, the 2025 program included the solemn Mass in the church of San Giacomo Apostolo, the blessing of animals with the three laps around the church, the Scarciacappa ritual, the parade of knights, and the procession of Our Lady of the Crowned.
