Festival of Our Lady of Sorrows and Saint Gaspar del Bufalo

In September 2025, Campoli Appennino celebrated the 14th edition of the Festival of Our Lady of Sorrows and Saint Gaspar del Bufalo, held on September 6, 7 and 14. The festival followed the usual format intertwining the sacred and the secular: religious celebrations organized by the Parish of S. Andrea Apostolo with the participation of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, the striking nocturnal procession through the illuminated streets of the historic center, and majestic fireworks visible across much of the Comino Valley. There was no shortage of convivial moments, with music and evenings in the square organized by the Festivities Committee, which drew residents, visitors, and many locals who returned for the occasion.
