Edition 2025 — Festival of Our Lady of Mount Carmel

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Our Lady of Mount Carmel took place in Vellezzo Bellini from July 11th to 15th. Amidst the religious program, piazza dinners, and musical evenings, the Palio delle Contrade was the highlight as always, with the competition between Azzurri, Gialli, Rossi, and Verdi and the participation of the village community and the hamlet of Giovenzano.

From July 11th to 15th, 2025, Vellezzo Bellini, in the Province of Pavia, celebrated its traditional Festival of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, organized by the parish. The days alternated moments of devotion around the July 16th feast with the community aspect, featuring piazza dinners, bar service, and evenings of music and dancing. The heart of the festival was the Palio delle Contrade, the competition established in 1990 between the four village districts, preceded by the historical costume parade.
