Festival of Our Lady of Liberty

The rites of Our Lady of Liberty on the Monday after Pentecost 2025 renewed in Provvidenti a devotion that has its roots in centuries past. At the Sanctuary of S. Maria della Libera, one of the oldest in the diocese of Termoli-Larino, the community gathered for moments of prayer and for the traditional "pezzenta", the legume soup that accompanies the Pentecostal celebrations of the village in the province of Campobasso.
