Edition 2025 — Medieval Cities and Villages
The 45th edition
The 2025 edition marked the milestone of forty-five years of activity for the festival, confirming the itinerant formula that brings classical music into the churches, theaters, and historic squares of the municipalities between the province of Rome and the province of Frosinone. The Municipality of Fiuggi hosted, as per tradition, its own summer appointment.
Performers and ensembles
The 2025 program featured pianist Michele Campanella at the opening, oboist Carlo Cesaraccio, violinist Roberto Baldinelli, flutist Enrico Luca, pianist Ivana Bordonaro, and Korean violinist Erwin Eung Soo Kim. On the ensemble front, the Calabria Philharmonic Orchestra, a Mediterranean chamber orchestra, the Carabinieri Band, the Ensemble of the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory of Naples, the Virtuosi di Vivaldi, and the Eso String Trio performed.
Beyond the classical repertoire
Alongside the repertoire concerts, the 45th edition proposed evenings dedicated to Italian songs of the fifties and sixties and Neapolitan music, which were particularly well-received by the public. The festival took place under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and with the support of the Lazio Region, the BCC of Paliano, and Acea Ato2.
