Festival of Maria SS. di Valverde

The 2025 Festival of Maria SS. di Valverde enlivened Enna for over a week. On Sunday, August 24, in the sanctuary of Valverde, it opened with the Rosary, the chaplet in honor of the Madonna, and the display of the statue on the altar, followed in the evening by the "SimiLaura" tribute concert dedicated to Laura Pausini. Friday, August 29, was the turn of the DJ set in the square. Saturday, August 30, saw the most solemn rites: the Mass of the verginelle in the morning, the commemorative Mass for the 90th anniversary of the Confraternity, the solemn First Vespers, and, at midnight, the "Prayer to Mary" with a musical show by the Urban group. Sunday, August 31, was the grand finale with the Illusion Band and Marco Manera, while the celebrations officially closed on Sunday, September 7, with the repositioning of the statue in the votive chapel. Also in 2025, the procession on the Golden Ship, from the sanctuary of Valverde to the Cathedral of Enna, represented the most anticipated moment for the Enna community.
