Edition 2025 — Madonna del Carmine
On July 16, 2025, the Festival of Madonna del Carmine renewed in Montorio nei Frentani the tradition of the three processions, with the statue of the Madonna carried by the women and preceded by the Manuocchi, the decorated sheaves of wheat.
In 2025, the Festival of Madonna del Carmine confirmed its profoundly traditional character in Montorio nei Frentani (CB). Throughout the day of July 16th, the three processions took place, with the statue of the Madonna carried by the women of the town and preceded by the Manuocchi, the decorated sheaves of wheat that recall the link between faith and the peasant culture of Basso Molise.
