Edition 2025 — Festival of Identities

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Identities was divided into two events between Biella and Pettinengo. On June 14, the Basilica of San Sebastiano hosted the "Villa de Mar" choir from Elmas, while on August 3, at the Migration Museum of Pettinengo, the Piedmontese trio Tribeba engaged in a dialogue with launeddas players, in a journey that combined polyphony, Alpine music, and Sardinian tradition.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Identities proposed two distinct events, confirming the festival's vocation to build bridges between Piedmont and Sardinia.

Saturday, June 14, in the Basilica of San Sebastiano in Biella, the "Villa de Mar" choir from Elmas (Cagliari) performed, with 45 voices directed by maestro Orlando Pittau, in a concert that intertwined Renaissance polyphony and traditional Sardinian songs.

Sunday, August 3, at the Migration Museum of Pettinengo, the Piedmontese trio Tribeba presented Alpine music played with traditional instruments, joined by launeddas players Nicola Diana and Maurizio Caria, featuring a workshop dedicated to the construction of traditional jaw harps.

Both events, with free admission, were organized by the Circolo Culturale Sardo Su Nuraghe with the support of the Sardinia Region and the Municipalities of Biella and Pettinengo.
