Festival of Forgiveness

The 2025 Festa del Perdono in Castelleone di Suasa (Ancona, Marche) took place on Sunday, April 6th, starting at 2:30 PM. The Passeggiata del Perdono, which began at 2:45 PM, visited four votive shrines in the area (Madonna del Vallato, Sacro Cuore, San Pietro Martire, and Madonna del Carmine), with a snack offered to participants. From 3:30 PM, the village came alive with traditional games organized by ASD Castelleonese and Azione Cattolica, a craft workshop with Mastro Giuliano, a briscola card game competition with awards, and Marche songs and dances by the folk group La Damigiana. On Monday, April 7th, the traditional Fiera del Perdono was held in the historic center.
