Edition 2025 — Contemporary Thinking

The third edition of the Festival of Contemporary Thinking took place in Piacenza from September 11 to 14, 2025, on the theme "Unveiled Lives. Exposing/Discovering." Over 80 events spread across more than 15 venues in the historic center brought together over 200 Italian and international guests, including Antonio Scurati, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Carlo Cottarelli, Derrick De Kerckhove, and Erling Kagge. The International Festival of Contemporary Thinking Prize was awarded to the Chilean writer Benjamín Labatut.

2025 Edition: Unveiled Lives

The third edition of the Festival of Contemporary Thinking was held in Piacenza from September 11 to 14, 2025, with the theme "Unveiled Lives. Exposing/Discovering." Over four days, more than 80 events spread across more than fifteen venues in the historic center involved over 200 Italian and international guests.

Among the protagonists were writers and intellectuals such as Antonio Scurati, Melania G. Mazzucco, Concita De Gregorio, and Franco Arminio, the artist Michelangelo Pistoletto, the economist Carlo Cottarelli, and international guests such as Derrick De Kerckhove, Erling Kagge, Björn Larsson, and Claire Marin. The opening evening in Piazza Cavalli featured performances by artists like N.A.I.P., Nayt, and Anna Castiglia, while the closing was entrusted to the show "The Five Elements." The International Festival of Contemporary Thinking Prize was awarded to the Chilean writer Benjamín Labatut at Palazzo Gotico.
