Edition 2025 — Festival Isabella Morra
In 2025, the Isabella Morra Festival continued its poetic residence project in the castle of Valsinni, transforming the walls that witnessed the birth of the Renaissance poet into a home for contemporary poetry, with readings and tributes from participating poets.
Following Barbara Gortan's concept, the Isabella Morra Festival confirmed its formula: poets invited to stay in the castle of Valsinni to draw inspiration and compose new verses, which are then read publicly and kept in the festival's archive. A living tribute to Isabella Morra's figure, between Basilicata and Puglia.
