Edition 2025 — Festival Mario Lanza

In 2025, the Festival Internazionale Mario Lanza returned to Piazza Municipio in Filignano in the second half of August, continuing the long tradition of tributes to the Italian-American tenor. After the 34th edition in 2024, dedicated to the centenary of the artist's death, the 2025 edition also brought great opera to the town in Isernia.

The 2025 edition renewed the summer appointment with international opera in Filignano (province of Isernia), in Piazza Municipio. The festival, organized by the Associazione Mario Lanza chaired by Michel Rongione, confirms year after year the bond between the Molise village and the figure of the famous tenor, with concert evenings and leading voices accompanied by a live orchestra.

Programme

The 2025 evenings followed the festival's established format: opera concerts in Piazza Municipio with solo voices and orchestra, in the spirit of the tribute to Mario Lanza. The 34th edition in 2024 had featured, among other things, the show "Puccini and his women" (dramaturgy by Vito Cesaro) conducted by Maestro Leonardo Quadrini with the Orchestra Internazionale della Campania.
