Festival Internazionale della Zampogna

The 2025 edition of the International Bagpipe Festival took place as tradition dictates on the last weekend of July, animating the historic center of Scapoli with evening concerts, bagpiper gatherings, and the large market dedicated to the instrument and local crafts.

For three days, the village streets were filled with the sound of the bagpipe, featuring performances by Italian groups and international guests, demonstrations by master luthiers, and visits to the Bagpipe Museum, confirming Scapoli as the world capital of this ancient pastoral instrument.

As every year, the 2025 program alternated, throughout the weekend, evening concerts in the historic center and in Piazza Martiri di Scapoli, gatherings and jam sessions of bagpipers in the village streets, instrument-making workshops, and the craft and luthier market.
