Edition 2025 — Biennale Teatro

In 2025, the Biennale Teatro confirmed Venice as a crossroads for the international theatre scene, with a programme of performances, premieres, encounters, and awards held between the Arsenale and the city's historic theatres. The festival showcased major protagonists and new avant-garde artists, providing a platform for young artists from Biennale College Teatro.

In 2025, the International Theatre Festival of the Venice Biennale presented a dense calendar of performances and encounters with protagonists of the contemporary scene.

Between the Arsenale and the historic theatres, the festival renewed its commitment to research, awarding the customary Lions and supporting the training of young artists through Biennale College Teatro.
