Edition 2025 — Saint Julius Festival for Construction Workers

The 2025 edition of the Festival in honor of Saint Julius, patron saint of masons and construction workers, took place in Calasca-Castiglione with fresh snow on the peaks of the Anzasca Valley as a backdrop. On that occasion, the Gruppo Edile once again brought the town community together for Mass, a procession, and the traditional social lunch, confirming the continuity of a deeply felt event.

The 2025 festival followed the established tradition: a welcome reception at the Gruppo Edile headquarters, Mass in the parish church of Calasca, and a procession with the statue of Saint Julius accompanied by the Premiato Corpo Musicale di Bannio. The day concluded with a social lunch and greetings from the valley's authorities.

The natural backdrop of that edition, with fresh snow on the peaks, highlighted the deep bond between the construction community and the mountain landscape of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in Piedmont.
