Festival delle Storie – San Donato Val di Comino Stop

From August 25th to 31st, 2025, the Festival delle Storie traversed the villages of Atina, Settefrati, Alvito, Castello di Alvito, Gallinaro, San Donato, and Picinisco with the "Le Carte del Caos" edition: each day corresponded to an alchemical card, from the Night of Gold to the Ouroboros. Among the week's guests were magistrate Nicola Gratteri, writer Maurizio De Giovanni, microbiologist Andrea Crisanti, journalist Agnese Pini, and Vatican expert Andrea Tornielli.

The San Donato Val di Comino stop, on Saturday, August 30th, in Piazza della Libertà, was dedicated to those who still believe in narrative utopia, with the motto "They promised us gold. But the gold is inside the words." From 5 PM to 10 PM, the program featured Veronica Nicosia on artificial intelligence and writing, Mauro Orletti and Gabriele Barberis, crime writer Francesco Bozzi with "Il mostro di Urbino," Edoardo Inglese with the stories behind famous songs, Antonio Moresco with his "Love Letter to Giacomo Leopardi," the triptych of novels by Giuliana Vitali, Peppe Millanta, and Giulia Meta, and, in closing, Valeria Tron and Vito Di Battista with stories of Italy's margins.
