Festival della Terza Giovinezza – tappa di Cerreto d'Esi

The path to the first edition

The Festival della Terza Giovinezza is a recently established event: the first edition took place in 2026 in the municipalities of the Ancona hinterland, including Cerreto d'Esi. 2025 represented the preparation year, during which the Pact for the Well-being of the Elderly 2026-2028 was established, signed by the municipalities of Fabriano, Sassoferrato, Genga, Serra San Quirico, and Cerreto d'Esi along with the Marche Region and the Ancona AST (Local Health Authority).

The research work conducted with Coralab, a spin-off of the University of Urbino, defined the project's objectives: to transform aging into a community resource and to combat social isolation. From this process, the travelling festival was born, which, since 2026, enlivens the historic centre of Cerreto d'Esi and other municipalities in the Province of Ancona.
