Montefortino 2025: Excursion and Concert

In 2025, the Montefortino stopover was the eleventh event of the Festival dell'Appennino, scheduled for Sunday, July 6th. The afternoon was dedicated to an excursion to the Gole dell'Infernaccio, an approximately 7 km loop of intermediate hiking difficulty (E) towards the hermitage of San Leonardo, between Monte Priora and Monte Sibilla, with a meeting point in the early afternoon after the village of Rubbiano. In the evening, at 9:00 PM in Piazza Umberto I, Giorgio Conte, an internationally renowned chansonnier, performed, taking the audience on a journey through his repertoire. This stopover was part of the 2025 edition of the festival, featuring 27 events from May 4th to October 12th in 28 municipalities across Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo, and Lazio.
