Edition 2025 — Festival del Ciarlatano

The 2025 edition of the Festival del Ciarlatano took place in Cerreto di Spoleto on August 23rd and 24th, animating the historic centre with street theatre, contemporary circus, magic, and music. Despite uncertain weather, participation was large and enthusiastic, with families, residents, and tourists involved in two days of performances, according to Mayor Giandomenico Montesi.

The Festival del Ciarlatano 2025 took place in Cerreto di Spoleto on Saturday August 23rd and Sunday August 24th, transforming the village's alleys and squares into a widespread stage. The programme featured a mix of street theatre, contemporary circus, magic acts, comedy, live music, workshops, and trekking activities, with visits to the Museum of the Ciarlatano and the Museum of Mummies.

Among the artists who performed were Massimo Bagnato, Mago Alivernini, Carmela De Marte, the Compagnia Sesti/Contini, Matteo Pallotto, and Simone Romanò. Despite uncertain weather, Mayor Giandomenico Montesi highlighted how the festival continues to be "a driver of cultural and tourism enhancement" for the village and the entire Valnerina, with broad, intergenerational participation.
